Hong Kong

Hong Kong is often seen as the gateway to China. Alongside this key function in world trade, Hong Kong also acts as a regional hub for corporate transactions, dispute resolution and finance for the Asia Pacific region. We have lawyers on the ground that understand the interplay of local and international laws, and the cultural nuances of doing business in Asia.

Hear from our people

Alan Suen – Trainee Solicitor

“As a second-seat trainee in the Hong Kong office, I have been given ample opportunity to assist in substantive tasks and to work directly with clients in some instances. The exposure that I have received has been enriching and it was also eye-opening to collaborate with CMS colleagues from other offices on various contentious and non-contentious matters. The supportive and close-knit environment is what makes CMS a great firm to train at.”

Kelly Chiang – Trainee Solicitor

“Trainees are given great exposure to both contentious and non-contentious sides of the legal practice, which has enabled me to explore different practice areas and cultivate my interests. The firm’s expansive yet close-knit international network also enriches my experience, allowing me to collaborate with colleagues from other offices and gain exposure to multi-jurisdictional projects.”
