CMS Holborn Asia is a formal law alliance between CMS Singapore and Holborn Law LLC, operating as a full-service office for the Asia Pacific region. We advise at every stage of our clients’ projects and investment lifecycles, covering transactional, commercial, regulatory and disputes work.

Our particular strengths are infrastructure, construction and energy, venture capital and private equity, energy transition, insurance, intellectual property, life sciences, telecommunications, technology and media. Singapore internship

Our internships run in summer, from mid-May to the end of August, and in winter, from mid-December to mid-January. They are open to law students at Singapore universities who have completed at least one full year of study, and to law students at universities outside Singapore who have completed one full year and are Singapore citizens or permanent residents. Applications open throughout the year and we review them on a rolling basis. From the internship, you could be considered for a direct offer of a Singapore Training Contract.

Singapore training contract

Our training contract opens with a mandatory training year: two practice group rotations of six months each, with Parts A and B of the Bar exams funded in full and admission to the Singapore Bar. You become an associate on successfully completing year one. Year two forms part of a broader international programme, with two further rotations, the option to study for the SQE and cross-qualify in England and Wales, and support through the newly qualified process.
